Jimmy Pizzitola is a Houston based singer/songwriter, night-time landscaper, and lover of all things jellicle (except Cats). Influenced by the singer-songwriters of the 1970s, his musical journey began at a young age, listening to the likes of Jim Croce, Neil Young, and James Taylor. He also developed a passion for country music during his weekend adventures with his father and grandfather. As he grew older, Jimmy immersed himself in the Texas singer-songwriter scene, observing and learning from the talented musicians in local ice-houses and beer joints. He eventually picked up a guitar and started writing his own songs, fronting an alt-country band called Jimmy James and The Enablers. Despite a hiatus and a brief attempt at a conventional job, Jimmy returned to his musical calling, releasing his record "Poet On The Run" in 2010. Recognized in Steve Harris' book "Texas Troubadours," Jimmy is establishing his place in the rich tradition of Texas singer-songwriters.
